Mary Devonald (1822-1900) Granston, Pembrokeshire
« on: Friday 06 September 19 22:42 BST (UK) »
My 4x great grandmother was Mary Devonald, born in around 1822 in Granston, Pembrokeshire. Her husband was a James Gronow born in 1825. However, it is her parents I am having trouble locating. At the moment, on my ancestry tree I have her father down as Joseph Devonald (1797-1871), but I have no come across another possiblity as to her father and that is a David Devonald (1783-1879). Please could you help me if you can?

Thank you
Sarah

I already tried on the officual GRO website, but i looked yesterday and found it saud i had been refunded. Does that mean that they couldn't find the record?

There are 4 possible spouses for the entry for Mary.

Where did the knowledge that Mary married a James Gronnow come from?

Through research I've done on ancestry, their son William born in 1853 is my ancestor. I'm just trying to find out who Mary Devonald's parents are. I've tried everything i can think of but i don't yet know.
