There is the death of a Phillip John Hersey in 1955 in Bournmouth  probate given to Nellie May Hersey

There is also the birth of a Phillip John Hooper born in 1929 in St George Hanover Sq london 
mother a hooper

Think this is Nellie's son.

Do you have the b/c confirming his mother's name as Nellie Doris Hooper?

As there's three unopened records am assuming George & Nellie Hersey had children - do you have any of their b/c?
If so, was she named as Nellie, Nellie May formerly Hooper or something else

As you have probate record for Phillip showing Nellie May Hersey - I doubt his d/c will be helpful
