Has anyone here come across retroReveal - http://retroreveal.org/

I came across it in a story about stamp collectors (and I might have to concede that one thing more geeky than being a stamp collector is reading about stamp collectors) at https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-49632306

It seems to be a tool that separates digital images into individual colour channels, to reveal details that are normally hidden. If it works, it might be rather useful in deciphering old documents, or photos of worn gravestones etc.

So does anyone have any experience of this - and are we about to become redundant?
