The thing that is really doing my head in is.

Mary Ann Mansell first husband died in 1879.

in 1881 she says she is married but he as died.

Mary Ann Stoner married William Wilton in 1883 FreeBmd. There is a William Wilton death 1887.

How did she become Laker.

In 1891, she is married with William Laker and Laker children mothers mmn Mansel.
In 1901 and 1911 he is Thomas Laker still with the children. says married 29 years.

I can't find a William or Thomas Laker marriage to her either Wilton or Stoner.

You say that Mary Ann Mansell married Thomas Stoner in 1876 and that he died 1879.  I can't find a death for him in 1879.  He was 22yrs old when he married and the only one in 1879 was 57yrs old

How do you know that the 1883 marriage was your Mary Ann?  There is an 1881 entry in Sussex for a Mary Ann Stoner b 1856 Norfolk who could be the one who married in 1883.  Have you viewed the 1883 marriage cert to confirm father was Richard?

If you haven't viewed the 1883 cert - how do you know she married Wilton and not the other male on the same page?
