My late mother, like many of her generation had penpals from all over the world from the late 1930’s onwards. After going through her papers I have found photos and information about some of these penpals. I have not found anyone actively researching the above named so post the information I have in case someone in the future comes looking.

Jean Jamieson was born 20 4 1921 though maiden name unknown, as my other only started to correspond in 1944.
Jean had a brother and a sister. Her mother died on 8 9 1945. Her interests were films, reading, writing, collecting photos souvenirs of different places and collected popular songs.
Her husband David (Dave ) had been in WW2 in the Air Force in the Pacific. They had 2 children, one girl one boy. Photos of children not posted as they may still be alive. No photos of Jean or David.
