Sarah Bates Stredwick

I am searching for any descendants who are related to Sarah Bates who was born abt 1844/1845 in Sussex, and married George Stredwick in Hove in Dec. 1866.  Sarah and George were my great great grandparents. They left for America shortly after their wedding, arriving in America Feb 1867.  I have some information that Sarah's father was named Edward Bates but I do not have confirmation of that, and I have no names for any of her other family.  My mother inherited a lovely photo album that we believe Sarah brought with her when she came to the USA.  The photo album was in possession of Sarah's daughter (my great grandmother) and then passed on to my grandmother.  My grandmother could not identify any of the photos because she did not know the album existed until after the death of both her mother and grandmother.  I have photographed the entire album and I would love to find any relatives in the Brighton, England area who may also have antique family photos that we could compare and perhaps ID some of the people in Sarah's photo album.  If someone will explain how to do it  , I will post a few photos for reference.

CaroleW, thank you for responding.  I do have that information from the original marriage certificate that is in my mother's possession.
