I'd go with Ancestry, the cousin connections are not really matched by any other service. The ethnicity thing is just a bit of fun really - you should also realize every sibling differs by 50% from each other, so if you have some distant ancestor of some exotic ethnicities, some siblings may have those genes and others not. I'd say 23andme is probably a bit better at detecting trace ancestry.

I am not a big fan of Ancestry's DNA test.

At the end of the day all the sites have their advantages and disadvantages.

What you need to decide is what you want from the test. Until you know that you can not make an informed choice of which test to take. In my opinion no one should advise you to use one site over another without first knowing your requirements for the test.

And to show I am not biased against Ancestry I will mention that I have tested with Ancestry, FTDNA.com and Living DNA and had a free upload to MyHeritage.

I would also agree wtih taking an AncestryDNA test then uploading to other sites. You can view your match list on Ancestry without an account subscription, but be aware that you would need to subscribe to see the full trees for your matches.
