Unusual family tree search!!
« on: Monday 23 September 19 14:12 BST (UK) »
Hi. Unusual request maybe, but if anyone would know it might be 'Old Greenockians'.
My father grew the most amazing tomatoes with a family tree about 6 feet tall with very numerous heavy branches of multiple siblings. He planted his seeds religiously on New Years Day, and his greenhouse was heated due the generosity of the firemen on the Gourock to Glasgow train line. This would have been about 1956-1962. These would have been the best tomatoes ever - or is that   just childhood memories? Any old gardeners have an ideas of the tomato's possible name?????
Many thanks. Tasman
