Thank you all so much for your speedy responses. I am amazed. It's taken me ages (weeks) to make the same links between the Lees and William Henry Jordan. I did not mention it in my query because I did not want to influence anyone's ideas......how on earth you did it, I really don't know! ? I started a new tree for the Lees, I was so convinced there was a link. Hooray!
Thanks again.

There is a baptism for Harry Jordan, February 1874 with mother Mary.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J7T9-PN5

This would make him 7 yrs in 1881  :-\

William and Emma's marriage cert names his father as William Henry Jordan - a moulder.

Was just wondering if father was noted as deceased on m/c and were the witnesses to the marriage related to either couple?
What address did William give as his residence?

Have been looking at other census records and I've not found a William Henry Jordan Snr. & William Henry Jordan Jnr. together on the 1881 census nor have I found a William Henry Jordan with occupation moulder

When & where did William Henry Jordan Jnr. die?
Does it give his date of birth on the death entry?

Yes, William Henry senior is listed as deceased. Witnesses Robert Smith and Hannah Bates.
Both William and Emma address at the time Cook Street, Wednesbury.
William Henry senior died Walsall Oct 1926.
Thanks

Thank you for the extra info. - was hoping that maybe his death was later giving his dob so you could
tie it up with the Feb 1875 baptism (mother Eliza) /WHJ 1874 Dec qtr. birth entry in Kidderminster (no mmn)

So he seems to appear as Harry or Henry Jordan (Lees) on census records no mention of first name William  other than on his marriage/death record

Not sure if the 1901 census was mentioned

Is this William Henry Jordan on 1901 census, Head of William Griffiths living 424 Wilton Road Warwickshire

Harry Jordan 's' age 27 Kidderminster,  occ Dresser in Iron Foundry
Relation to Head:   Boarder
Civil Parish:   Aston Manor
County/Island:   Warwickshire
Piece:   2886 Folio:   125 Page Number:   36
