Hi LizzieL,

No - not found his baptism.

In 1851 his birth place is "unknown" but 1861/71 its Abingdon and he is buried 1876 in Harwell.

I think I have his wife's bapt... as Betsy Maskell 29-11-1822 (d/o Samuel & Leah)  and she is buried
in Harwell in 1889.

Alan, the 1821 baptism was at the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel in New Inn Hall Street, Oxford.  The parents were Andrew (a printer) and Elizabeth, abode 'Parish of St Mary Magdalen Oxford'.  Is this the right family?

Either way, I can't see a non-conformist marriage in Oxford.  RC records don't appear to be available online yet.

I have no info on Robert, but as far as I can see "Andrew" is not carried forward on known children bapt between 1847 & 1862.
