Thanks again Osprey and Ambly!

I will order the Marriage Bond from the Library of Wales, it usually takes about a week to get the scan by email....

The wills are also interesting, and I intend to check them as well.

There are so many Powells in that part of Breconshire, but we are getting close to my origin, Llanfihangel Nant Bran!

:)  Look forward to the update once the Bond details are to hand and hoping it gives you a leg up to the next tier!

Margaret's funeral notice in the Cambrian, 21 Dec 1822, gives her age as 30

FindMyPast baptisms (image) has the baptism of -
Margaret Powell, bap 10 Nov 1791, place Battle, parents Thomas and Margaret.

Hello All!

I found the Will pf Thomas Powell, Coedgenny, Battle, Farmer, dated 24 July 1823, proved by his wife Margaret 27 September 1823. He bequeathed a substantial estate to his wife Margaret and  daughter Margaret.

I think that pin-points and verifies a lot!

My thanks to everyone!

I would never have managed this without your help!

Hi

My apologies, the Will was made in 1813 not 1823!!!!
