I was looking to see when Sarah Jane Wilson died, and I found she died aged 30 Dec quarter 1914 in Wigton 10b 790, there was also a Muriel Wilson with exactly the same registration details died aged 0, having been born dec quarter 1914, can I assume this is mother & daughter?

It is a possibility, but Wilson is a fairly common name. It would be best to get hold of the certificates to check rather than just making assumptions.

Have you looked for a birth reg for Muriel?  mmn was Clark so how does that fit with what you know of Sarah?

From what research i have done William Wilson b 1882 married Sarah Thomlinson 1905 wigton, they had 1 son William Ernest born 1906, Sarah died same quarter amj in 1906. William went on to marry Sarah Jane Clark in 1910, she died 1914 also Wigton registration maiden name of Muriel's mother was Clark, all seems to fit but I do not like to assume. They were living in Aspatria in 1911 so am going to have a look in aspatria cemetery tomorrow and see if they are buried there.

Sarah’s maiden name was Clark and Muriel’s birth reg shows mmn Clark
