Northern Ireland civil records (births, marriages, deaths) only go up to 1921 for all-Ireland results which is probably why the 2 unlikely ones are posted above.
For 1922 and later you need to check GRONI's database but births less than 100 years old, marriages 75 years and deaths 50 years will not be available online there.
Searching for William Reid marriages 1933-1937 (4 year search restriction) shows 18 results for N.I.- with 5 in Belfast district including one 23 Mar.1935 to a Christina Magee. Others- 17 Apr.1933 bride Millar, 20 Nov.1935 bride Trainor, 20 May 1936 bride McAfee, 8 Sept.1937 bride Allen. Of course he could have married out of the Larne/Belfast area of after 1937.
