Good morning
Just a quick question - Can I have more than 1 tree on Roots magic as in different families, if so how?

TIA

You can start a new database file for as many families as you have!
You just can't link the separate databases into one.

I have a dozen such files.

File; New is what you need to do.

KGarrad's method is the most straightforward. Be aware that it is also possible to have multiple unconnected trees within a single database. For example, when doing a single-name study, in which previously separate trees might well end up being connected.

These two RM forum posts are worth a look:

In particular: note Tools, Count Trees on the menu.

RADFORD - Nottinghamshire, also back & forth to Bury
RUDD - Durham, Margate, Bermondsey, Newcastle, Nottingham

Just to add to the information already given: if you have more than one database, you can open two or more in the same window and move people from one to another by 'drag and drop' which gives you various options for moving one individual, a family, or the whole lot.
