Dalloway or Johney ? 1631. Trysull
« on: Friday 04 October 19 19:19 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
FreeReg has Isabel Whitmore married to Thomas Dalwey ( Dalloway ) in Trysull on 19.10.1631.     However Familysearch has Isabel married to Thomas Johney in Trysull on the same day?
Has anyone access to the image of the original P.Rs. please in order that the confusion can be resolved ?
Thanks in anticipation,
Regards,
Colin.

The image is on FindMyPast. Whilst the image is clear the handwriting is terrible however it looks like Dalwey to me. The initial D does look like a J but comparing it to the letter d in the word day the surname definitely starts with a D.

Thanks for your time and input it was really what I had hoped.
Just have to track Isabel down now, no sign at the moment.
Best regards
Colin
