Looking for info on the parents of ancestor Charles Gordon (1771 Arbroath)

The furthest that I or any distant cousins I've spoken to on ancestry.com have gotten is the name of his parents, and the name of his siblings.

Charles was from Arbroath, and his parents were Robert Gordon and Isobel Belgrie/Begrie/Balgaire/etc etc.

He also had several siblings: George (1767 Arbroath), John (1769 Arbroath), and probably an Agnes (1777 Arbroath), who's mother's name is listed as Isobel "Polgavie".

Obviously, Isobel's strange and somewhat unknown surname is a challenge. Any info or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if any additional info is needed, and I'll see what I can pull up in terms of baptism, marriage, etc records.

No, I've never seen a record before. I'm looking on SP right now to double check, but as of now, nothing.
