I seek more info re parents of Paul Paulsen b 1819 died 1884 Trondheim, Norway

My 2nd great grandfather was Paul Paulsen, born 4th October 1819 in Christiana, Norway and died on 25th May 1884.

So Paul's parents were Ole Paulsen and Anne Johnsdatter. I believe they were married on 23rd April 1819 in Aker, Akershus, Norway.
I don't have any more info about Ole and Anne. Can anybody help please. Can they be located in the 1801 Census? When and where did they die?

Like various other countries , Norway would have generally used patronyms i.e. if "rkive82" definitely picked the correct parents, Paul would have been identified as "Ole's son" (i. e. a patronym).
However at some time, Paul seems to have decided to take Paulsen as his family name ( at least before the 1865 census?).
NB It wasn't until 1923 that Norway made it mandatory to have a hereditary last name (while e.g. the Netherlands had done this in abt 1811 because of Napoleon)
