The rest of the article from the WFP (1923) says that William John Blair is the unanimous choice of the Alberta Liberal-Conservative association for the provincial leadership of the Conservative party.  He is a successful farmer from Provost.  His unanimous nomination was made after the refusal of Hon. R B Bennet K.C. of Calgary.  Other people are listed as being nominated, but also declined.  Blair was confident that the Conservatives could carry Alberta in the next election.

Thanks Sandra and RK

The family could not have moved west in 1910 since they they show up in New Liskeard in 1911. I need to see if I can find an obit in Ingersol newspaper. William Johns' death cert does not have burial info. No idea when Lottie died. I assume that they would be buried together.
Question - why would Ancestry not have New Liskeard census?

Much appreciated
Ed

Short death notice in the Globe and Mail on 26 Aug 1943.  Says William John Blair was buried at the Anglican Cemetery, Woodstock.

Sandra already posted the findagrave information for him in reply 6........strange that it says burial place unknown ???
