Mary Tee

I am looking for information on my 3 x Great Grandmother Mary Tee

All i know is that she was either born in Dudley, Warwickshire, England or Weldon, Northamptonshire, England in about 1806 (this is taken from Census records as I have not located a Baptism record)

She married William Wright 12 July 1827 in Great Weldon, Woodnewton, Northamptonshire, England

Can anyone help?

FamilySearch has a baptism for Mary Tee in Weldon.

10th October 1803
Parents John and Mary.

Don't forget that the ages in the 1841 census were rounded down.

Is this your George, from the 1841?

If you get this birth cert from the GRO with the detail above, you will get an address and details of William's occupation.

Both may add a little weight to what you have

I wonder if he married twice?

The 1841 census shows her from Northamptonshire
The 1851 census shows her from Weldon, Northamptonshire

But

The 1861 census shows her from Dudley, Worcestershire
The 1871 census shows her from Dudley, Worcestershire

Were there any more children after the 1861?

If so, you can look them up for free on the GRO website (you need to register but it's free) and that will shown you Mother's Maiden name (as I had for George in my earlier message).

That should tell you if the Mary is a different one!

Just throwing out possibilities.
There is a Mary Wright death in Oundle in 1855, aged 51, which would tie in with the date of baptism found above.
There is a marriage between William Wright and Mary Dixon in Oundle in 1857.
Of course it could be complete coincidence.
