We have found this portrait in the family loft. The pictures of David's son Frank David was recognised by his grandchildren. I have realised that it was pictures of an older person.

Noting her complexion, I wonder if this is the son and wife.

We know that he was in WW1 and have received several medals.
He was 42years old when his father died in 1915. Could the portrait be a younger Frank David?

Is it possible to see if there is a resemblance, if I loaded a pic?

I'm very thrilled about this.
The years actually coincide with my dates. The young 13year old David is very likely the family member I'm referring too.

I am now contemplating the possibility that they came to South Africa as a family.
