Thanks for the replies everyone. Yes, her adopted father was also called Joseph.

I think it is safe to say that the fathers name on the marriage certificate is incorrect. I will do some more digging and see what I can find out about her birth parents. Thanks again

I have an instance where someone gave different fathers, one the adoptive, in two marriages and others who gave either their real father or the adoptive father.

There is a family who fits with a George and Sarah.
