Hi.. glad you got the will ok.. was it of any use or interest to you?
My Adam is Adam Colvine Scott, born 1892 and died 1926. He was a farmer, married to Thomasina Cockburn and lived at Lanton, Jedburgh.

Hi MerryKerry. The Will just gave all personal effects, furniture etc to his widow Robina (nee Lees), a life interest in the balance to her and on her death paid out to the kids equally (with an additional payment of 200 pounds to daughter Robina Lees Stewart Scott). So the Will didn't contain anything usual, but good to have it all the same as I now know that to be the case.
I've come across the Scotts at Lanton from time to time but never found any connection to mine.
