Doneraile Co Cork, School Group photo, opinion on date please
« on: Monday 21 October 19 10:32 BST (UK) »

This group photo I believe was taken circa 1929 to 1932 going by clothes worn. Another suggestion by family member is that it was taken in mid 1940s
I'm trying to determine if its my mother in group or her younger cousin, they have very similar looks.
Looking forward to hearing member views

I would be inclined to agree with 1940s.

I have a photo of my mother and 3 of her siblings taken in the late 1940s, your photo instantly reminded me of it.  The girls have the same floppy bows tying their fringes back.

Sorry, can't help with refining the date, but I thought you might like a makeover. :)
