Hi Mick,
 I just came across your post. I am married to Clarence Ashton's son David. I'm not sure what you want to know. Clarence's wife Mabel grew up in Derbyshire but left well before she married. Clarence and his brother Frank both served in the army in the second world war. My husband has lost touch with his father's sibling's families but I have done a fair bit of research on the family and may still have a contact email for Percy's family in Australia.
