« on: Friday 25 October 19 21:26 BST (UK) »
Its a while since I last looked at my Quaker lines however on returning I am checking the dates are accurate.

The following transcription is the subject at hand and I am seeking opinion/s as to the date of death and date of burial please [in the Gregorian Calendar] please.

Alice Musgrave wife of Pergrin Musgrave departed this life the 9 of the 2 m 1709 in the 91 [?] year of her age and was buried the 11 at East Hook.

I see the date as April 9th, 1709, but at that time England would be using the Julian Calendar. Why do you need to know the Gregorian date?

9th April (2nd month) 1709 Julian equates to 20th April 1709 Gregorian.

9 of the 2 m 1709  just means the 9th of April 1709.
See https://blogs.ancestry.com/ancestry/2014/05/22/quaker-calendars-dates-in-just-two-days-tomorrow-will-be-yesterday/
The last Julian calendar day was 2 September 1752 the first Gregorian calendar day was 14 September 1752 (the days between these dates were omitted)

Where is East Hook?

Scotland moved to the Gregorian calendar in 1600, but the rest of Great Britain (and it's colonies) waited until 1752 (as Stan rightly said).
British colonies in what later became the USA changed in 1752, as it was a British colony at the time.

Catholic states (Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, etc) changed in 1582.
Protestant countries changed at different times from 1611 onwards.

Many thanks for the input.

East Hook was/is a Friends burial ground near Pembroke, Wales.
