Hello everyone,
I could do with some help and advice please.
I have two families of relatives joined by the marriage of the above people. I have located a possible
marriage registered in Barnsley in Q4/1890 and I cannot find an alternative. The marriage will probably have taken place in one of several villages between Barnsley and Wakefield. I have contacted both Barnsley RO and Wakefield RO and they have not been able to locate the record. Would the records have been transferred from one LRO to another LRO if a boundary change occurred subsequently, as has happened in this area? If I contact the GRO, what information will they need from me?
I have them linked here on a record of baptism of one of their sons:

I have checked his brother and sisters and their families records but cannot find a more definite link. Am I missing something? Have I made a mistake? Any suggestions anybody?
