Londonderry,

that link has timed out and one has to visit ask about Ireland and resubmit.

What exact search term will get me to the relevant article, please?

Looks like it's merely a link to Killygullib Glebe in Griffith's Valuation-
http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/index.xml?action=placeSearch

A relative in England found the above on Turners Town, which is why we are both interested to find out more to see who originally settled it. Unfortunately with the destruction of records i feel i am stuck at 1830.
There are loads of records but not all are online.

Numerous posts by "Irish Finder" to do with Turners, Batemans, etc. Are they also your posts?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Does the phrase 'Turners Town' appear in there, then, or have to ferret around?

I found there remains a 'Turners Town Lane' on the map just north of the 'V" on B75 where Drumagamer Road intercepts another road (the name cut off what i have). Turners Town Lane is north of and not quite in the middle of Swatragh and Tamlaght  ;D ;D

See reply #3 where I already gave map with location of Turners Town Lane.

For the 3rd time- waiting for the answer to a really simple question-

Hi Aghadowey,  NO they are not my posts  ;D  (they have the same family). My cousin is going to drive to Turners Town Lane and around that area to see what he can find. I will post his findings on Roots Chat to help anyone researching the Turners.  ;D ;D
