Elizabeth White 1813 Aston, Herts
« on: Tuesday 05 November 19 10:25 GMT (UK) »
I have hit a total brick wall with the parents of my 2xgreat grandmother Elizabeth White Christened in Aston 14 March 1813, parents given as Simon White and Ann.
I have all of Elizabeth's details (she married John Spencer in Aston 8 June 1833) but can't find any details for a Simon White in that area, this is the only Simon and Ann marriage that fits the time :-
Simon White
Spouse's Name:
Anne Field
Event Date:
10 Sep 1807
Event Place:
Christ Church Greyfriars Newgate,London,London,England
Any help greatly appreciated.
Mainly researching the Lees from Herts but also compiling a one name study of Culverhouse

The earliest baptism I am seeing at Aston for 'White' with parents Simon & Ann is Rhoda on 5 Feb 1809 so the 1807 marriage is a possibility.

Have you located any baptisms in London after the marriage of that couple

Thanks for all that, I shall put them all together and see what comes out. I have been trying this for 9 years and the Field (butcher) link has come up in the past.
All makes sense now and fits together, runaway marriage at 18 then back to Aston. Simon dies and Ann(e) remarries.
Just have to find Simon birth now.  Thanks again.
Have now found David and Ann in the 1841 in Aston with 2 of his children from a previous marriage.
