Hi all, is my mobile playing up, can you now only put in the approx yob, and then name/sex, no opportunity to ask for mothers maiden name, district of birth?

No the site's either changed this morning or is playing up

If you enter the date of birth / death, it should then get to the rest of the parameters (on a desktop PC it does, anyway)

Yes pop the year in and the rest of the boxes come up as normal including mothers name and district.

  Well at the moment I can see results and mmn, but had no way to ask for district/mmn?

EDIT you also have to input the +/-2 then date  otherwise you can only locate eg births 1839?

Well tried as suggested, and blow me down up popped all I needed to know, but assure you 30 minutes ago I never had that page! ( Why does it not lead you to that page after asking for a birth/death )

I am using a desktop, I have enough trouble with my eyesight trying to read a text on my phone without looking at websites on it

  The only problem now on mobile is if you wish to search for other siblings male/female you have to go back and start all over again!?

EDIT OK now found a way around it after initial search, they have moved the year of birth +/-2 to the top of the page.

Curiously the login page still says the website was "updated on 12th September 2019", but below that it now(?) adds:

We are currently adding to our online indexes which will help you identify and apply for copies of our records. We have now added online indexes for deaths registered between 1984 to 2019.

I think the last time I searched for something the last death records available were still only 1957 - if so, perhaps the addition of the 1984 to 2019 records has resulted in a further change to the design of the search form?

It appears different search fields are shown depending on whether you select a 1957 (or earlier year) or 1984-2019 (with further differences within that range).

As the ability to search 1984-2019 seems to be new I'll start a separate thread to highlight this.
