Hi. This weekend 8-11 November , Find My Past has free access so I presume their newspaper archive will be free as well.

Newspapers aren't included in the Findmypast free weekend. Check your local library - mine has a subscription to the British Newspaper Archive which you can access from the library computers.
Transcribing Essex records for FreeREG.
Current parishes - Burnham, Purleigh, Steeple.
Get in touch if you have any interest in these places!

Most County library services also give access from home to the Gale newspapers database which has C19 newspapers and The Times.  You do need to have a library ticket with your local library to access this.

As I found out, the library version of the BNA doesn't include all the content that you get with a subscription.

I didn't know that.... I've used the library version a fair bit, and have found everything I needed. What content isn't included?

I was not aware of that either.  I know that the Gale Newspaper database that you can view at home and in the library has a different coverage to the BNA.
