I cant find John George Hewitt in 1881 please help

Hi all
I am looking for a John George Hewitt born in 1875 in Misterton Notts. His parents were George Hewitt 1843-1922 and Louisa Hewitt 1845-1927. I have found his parents on a canal boat in Newbold but no sign of any of their children with them. They had 10 children altogether, 7 before the 1881 census, their oldest child, Charlotte Hewitt age 12 in 1881, born 1868,  is home alone with 2 of her younger siblings, Mary and Robert Hewitt. Can I have another pair of eyes please to try and locate John George Hewitt aged 5 in 1881. Thankyou in advance

What was the mother’s maiden name?

Was it WARE?

Charlotte Hewitt age 12 in 1881, born 1868,  is home alone with 2 of her younger siblings, Mary and Robert

There isn’t a Mary.

John George Hewitt is in almost 30 trees on Ancestry, including private ones.  Have you contacted the tree owners for their assistance?

As jamjar has pointed out, he was actually born in 1874. 

There is another Hewitt canal family in 1881, parents William and Sarah, Ann,11, Henry, 10, Albert,7, Mary, 6,  John, 4, Walkeringham,  George 1, Misterton, and Emma (7 months) Misterton.

Some trees have mixed them up.
