Re: Possible Connor/Ward Link

The only rock solid info. that I have on my Irish roots are that my 2X GG's were Hugh Connor and Mary McNany and that one or both of them came from Louth Ireland before settling and raising a family in Spennymoor/Tudhoe, Durham England. I have numerous Irish DNA connections, principally in Louth and Monaghan, but none seem to tie in with mine. However, I have found that my closest DNA connection, has the name Ward on their tree. I have found the marriage of James Connor and Margaret Ward. I have also found that a James Connor and wife Margaret had a son Hugh, in the same year as the marriage 1813. I also believe that a witness to the marriage was Hugh Connor, probably the father of the groom. Admittedly, this may be entirely coincidental, so I need someone to look at what I have viewed to dispel or approve my interpretation. If correct, I then need to find that Margaret Ward is somehow related to my DNA's Ward, but that is another day. Any help would be much appreciated.
