This is a possible entry for John on the Connecticut death index - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VZP7-XRN  City directories appear to have him living in Waterbury, Connecticut with his wife Alberta prior to his death.  The Connecticut death index indicates that Alberta died at age 47 on 16 Nov. 1962.

The Waterbury public library will do obituary look-ups according to their website:  http://www.bronsonlibrary.org/genealogy  That may help you find if there are any survivors for this couple.

John's brother Francis died in Red Bank NJ in February 1987. His obituary says he left a son, who is named. A tree at ancestry says he had 2 boys and a girl. Another son is identifiable by his application for SS. Presuming Francis' obit is correct, and the son died before Francis, that son's name was Maurice Francis Meade.

I would post a link to the obit or a screenshot, but I don't know where rootschat draws the line for information on living people. Can it be in an image that is not text-searchable?

I'll take a longer look at Francis' family later today.
