I thank all the people who help me to find the family of John Maurice Meade my grandfather, I hope to find it thanks to you.
I live in France I am French so it is very difficult to consult the records of the United States.

The 1945 Waterbury City Directory shows that John M Meade was married to Alberta by that time, but he was still in the Army.
The 1946 Directory shows that he was out of the army and was working at a regular occupation.

This is a possible entry for John on the Connecticut death index - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VZP7-XRN  City directories appear to have him living in Waterbury, Connecticut with his wife Alberta prior to his death.  The Connecticut death index indicates that Alberta died at age 47 on 16 Nov. 1962.

Yes, John M Meade was in 1945 still in Germany (Bavaria) where he knew my grandmother who was a prisoner.
