Oh, well found, thanks, Monica. I have not even managed to find Henry's marriage. Where did you find that?

Thank you!

Henry's grandson's widow asked me about putting together a tree for her own grandsons, and she is coming to see me tomorrow, so I am grateful to have quite a lot of information for her, thanks to helpful RootsChatters.

Is this line descended from Helene Duncanson and William Leslie Burgess? http://libindx.moray.gov.uk/people/people_report_view.asp?REF_ID=NM057894

I wondered why Henry had died in Dundee. Was he visiting his daughter at the time?

You likely have this? From the National Probate Calendar:

Apart from Henry's two daughters, was there also a son, Robert, born c. 1883 in Paris (before his marriage we have on record)?

Thank you, yes, and yes. It was I who put that information on the Moray LIBINDX. I have reams of information about that side of the family, but I had not gone beyond the names of Helene's parents until asked recently.

I imagine that Henry was staying in Scotland to avoid the war in Paris.

Of course! The year of death says it all really and events back in Paris at that time.
