Eliza Price of Glascwm

Hello

my GGG Grandfather William Lewis married Eliza Price in Glascwm on 22 June 1844. Her father was Walter Price.

In 1851 William, Eliza and William's children Thomas and Dorothea are living in Llangattock.  Then William and children disappear until 1870 when they are found living in Pennsylvania, USA
Eliza is nowhere to be found ~ no death, no children, nothing.

Does anyone have Eliza or the Price family in their tree?

There are a number of Elizabeth Lewis deaths in the Crickhowell RD - have you checked them out for age using GRO online?

Have you checked GRO online for Lewis births with mmn Price from 1851 then checked those found in the Crickhowell RD with census entries.  They had been married for 7yrs by 1851 but no children from that marriage

there are some births registered in Presteigne which covers Glascwm where they used to live, but I think there must be two families for that many children.

I can't find a suitable death record in either Crickhowell or Presteigne, but I think I may have found her father and sister so something may come from that

If William & children are in the USA in 1870 do you know when they arrived?

There is the possibility that Eliza also emigrated with them and died in the USA
