Commonwealth War Graves Commission would like to trace relatives of Private Herbert Henry Tingle.
Henry born 13 September 1888 Kettering Northampton passed away 16 January 1920 Basford, Nottinghamshire.
Private Herbert Henry Tingle is buried Ilkeston Park Cemetery. The Commission is in the process of producing a headstone to mark his grave.  Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby) Regiment

Herbert married Ellen E Berry 1912 Kettering Northampton. 3b 474

The couple had a daughter Vera J Tingle - Basford -7b 367

Vera J Tingle married last quarter on 1939 - to Arthur N Miller in Kettering - 3b 699

Seems to be a 1946 birth born Kettering - possible 1947 in Surrey M East (not sure about this one)

Granby Remembers..................

Mr Herbert Henry Tingle Enlisted in August 1916 Visited the School in January 1917 returned to the school in March 1919, Health very poor with rheumatic fever and possibly shell shock, Lance Corporal 58483 Hubert Harry TINGLE. 10th Battalion, The Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment). He died on 16th January 1920 aged 31. He is commemorated on the Ilkeston Cenotaph and is buried in Ilkeston Park Cemetery in grave number 1341 with No Grave Marker.

He was a Teacher Granby and left to join the army in 1915

Seems there are no direct living relatives - maybe, perhaps a great niece.  :-\
