Search re- 1861 /1851 Censuses

Hi,
I'm not sure on for what I am asking can actually be achieved.
My ancestor on the 1861 Census has supposedly remarried and acquired three Step-Children.
He we believe was a Widower sometime before the 1861 Census was taken.
We have not found a Marriage with / of his Partner as on the 1861 Census.
I would like information of how to search the address of the 1861, back on the 1851 Census, if it's possible?.The address to be searched 1, Chelmsford Terrace, Paddington.

The 1861 Census ref  is R.G. 9. /  6 -- Page No. 30.
Paddington Parish, Municipal Ward 2, Borough of Marylebone, Ecclesiastical District is St. Saviours. The christian name's and age's of the people that I am interested in are ELIZABETH snr, ELIZABETH jnr,RICHARD and ELLEN as these are the Stepchildren to my Ancestor as the 1861 Census. My Ancestor, the head of household is JAMES WENTZELL age 44 as to the 1861 Census.
 Any help on the above much appreciated.

Richard Thornton 27 omnibus conductor Lambeth
Elizabeth 26 Essex Dageston?   
Richard 4 scholar London   (1861 census  15,14 and 12 years old)
Elizabeth 3 Brixton
Ellen 2 St Pancras

It's looks like the couple married at St James Westminster 27 Mar 1846 Richard Thornton and Elizabeth Guiven .
She latter remarried as Elizabeth Mary Wentzell 24.8.1865 at Croyden to Thomas Whitchuch.
her father given as Daniel Guiver coachman

Maria Wentzell buried 12.2.1855 at Kensington and Chelsea.It's on deceased online but I don't have a sub
Possible for Richard Thornton age 27 at Clapham 27.8.1852 but it is a very common name.

Firstly for looking at my request.Such a quick response from you.
Can anyone help on the Marriage of JAMES WENTZELL & ELIZABETH THORNTON ( GUIVER ) at all?. JAMES dies in 1863 in Penge, Croyden, Surrey. I have the suspicion that the WENTZELL name may have been mis-transcripted. Which I have had quite a lot of in my researching. Thank you all again for your help.
