James Oswald 1710-1769. Crail Composer.

Folks, John Purser, historian, in an article in todays National, is seeking the burial place of the above musician. Son of the Crail town drummer, Oswald had Lord Bute & the Prince of Wales as patrons & was appointed "Chamber composer to George III".  Finding where this court composer was buried is his problem. As as a widower he married secretly? aristocrat Leonora Robinson Lytton, a widow.
 He was based at Knebworth, Herts, for many years, where he died but the gravestones there are apparently indecipherable.  Buried anonymously in the tomb she occupied when died as Leonora Robinson Lytton Oswald  in 1790 is a possibility.
