The National Archives has the Trafalgar Ancestors database. A search of the database reveals two men named Gatt, neither of which seem to be your man. There is roughly a one in six chance that a sailor in the RN in 1805 served in the Battle of Trafalgar.

Pension records show that the last ship he served on was Gladiator.

Do you have a link to the records please?

The Gladiator was a flagship that never left port so presumably that was a notional posting for his time as an invalid.
