Sarah WATSON
« on: Friday 29 November 19 15:43 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to locate the final resting place of Sarah WATSON, née LANE. She died on 27 Dec 1924 in Sudbury, Uttoxeter. Sarah was originally from Willington, Burton-on-Trent, where she was born in 1836.

Her husband George WATSON, died a few years earlier on 04 Sep 1911 at Dale Brook, Sudbury.

I have been in contact with Uttoxeter Town Council and they have no record of a burial for either Sarah or George.

Have you tried the church at Sudbury - All Saints?  It looks as though the registers might still be with the church - Derbyshire Records Office only have burials to 1900.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!
If you don't ask the question, you won't get an answer.
