If Mary Ann was born 1864 that's not her on the 1901, that Mary Ann was born 1849.

Never said it was. My point is that I think that it is the James who died in 1902, he married his Mary Ann (nee Brown) in 1869.

Hi all, I am looking for the above person on either of these 2 census.
He married a Mary Ann Knowles (maiden name Wilkinson) in 1900 in Yarmouth in Norfolk but he isn't on either the 1901 census or 1911 census with Mary or any of her children.

1911-12 electoral register, so just after the census, Mary Ann Knowles has moved to 26 Albemarle Road

That's the address for Ernest James in 1922, Royal Naval Reserve Ratings' Records of Service

Is this daughter Mary Ann Knowles who was 25 in 1911? How likely? :-\
Or Mary Ann Roberts calling herself Knowles? 1911 enumerator has crossed out (Mrs) Knowles for Roberts on the schedule cover.

Just a bit more info for you guys. I contacted a great grandson of James Rogers and Mary Wilkinson and he got back to me and said that Mary Ann Wilkinson was born 1864-1934 and James Rogers was born 1866-1920 so that throws everything out the window that I knew. If that's true I don't know who the Mary Ann Rogers is on the 1939 register as he said she died 5 years before that x
