Cannot remember what B.B stands for on marriage certificate, can anyone remind me please.

Which column is it in.

I normally think of bb on births (base born)  :)

When she married she was called Emma Mary Field, but cannot find birth details for her, in 1871 census she is living with her husband and a Julia Green who is listed as mother, she is not her husbands mother.

As there is no father's name or occupation, I would hazard a guess at Base Born.

Base born, I agree - though have never before seen it on a marriage record.
