Hi - I am searching for my 2nd great grandmother Anne Lewis who was born abt 1839 in Kerry Montgomeryshire. In 1863 she marries William Edwards in Atcham, Shropshire. I can’t find anything about her before this marriage. I would appreciated any help with this. Thanks

Do you have a copy of her marriage cert?  Does she name a father on it?

Have you discounted the birth on freebmd in 1839 -  it's the only one in Montgomeryshire between 1838-1840 and Newtown was the RD for Kerry

Possible marriage same qtr 1839 - Richard Lewis & Elizabeth Lewis on same page but not necessarily the right parents.  You need her marriage cert

Assume this is the reference for her on 1861 as a kitchen maid in Cound, Shropshire (Atcham district)

The GRO also has a few Ann (no E) Lewises registered in Newtown and LLanidloes - 3 in 1838 and one in 1840.
