Aberhafesp Hall
« on: Wednesday 11 December 19 18:16 GMT (UK) »
Any info about the tenant farmers cottages that were part of the above hall - 1800-1900 situated north-west of Aberhafesp. I would like some large scale maps with the names of the cottages.
Thanks

They are not named on this os map, but the tenant farms mentioned in the other thread can be seen on the map, some way from the hall itself

I spent quite  a while looking for the names on the nls maps, but like you, I couldn't find any maps with them named.

Maybe one of the censuses might list them.

British listed buildings has the buildings down originally as a coach house, I would not expect to find tenant farmers living so close to the hall.

Yes thanks for that. The group of 'buildings' I'm interested in are about 1 mile from Aberhafesp Hall but were part of the estate. The group of buildings are called Bryn-y-Groes.
