St Munchin's Parish
« on: Saturday 14 December 19 20:06 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I have found ancestors who married at the above church as Church of Ireland and 7 years later as Roman Catholics. Also as i trace the family back the baptisms take place there as Church of Ireland.  I am a little confused by all this and wish to know what denomination the church was? Did it change denomination? And does this mean my ancestors from this particular branch were COI rather than RC?

Thanks in anticipation

There is a St.Munchin's of each denomination in Limerick City, quite close to each other.
Can't get shrink link to work but they are on each side of the river near Thomond Bridge

St. Munchin was the patron saint of Limerick City.
