Just some details on this Louisa.

Her birth shows in Battle, Sussex in 4th Qrt 1878 (Volume 2b/Page 60). She shows with her family in 1881 and 1891. 1891 here on FS www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:4ZTR-6PZ

There is a family tree on Ancestry with some detail for the parents and children www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tree/person/tree/29518660/person/26906177314/facts

I don't think, from the little I have seen, that Louisa Maud married in later years. Her likely entry in 1939 has her working in Brentford and Chiswick, Middlesex, working as a Companion Help. Birth date 26 Nov 1878 fits with the birth entry above.

Her death? 4th Qrt 1953
HOWES Louisa M - 76 - Essex S.W. (5a/150)

Could this be Winifred's mother...

Monica

My Grandpa married Winifred Louisa Maud Howes in Staines in Oct 1936

They lived in 11 Beards Road, Sunbury on Thames, Middlesex.

Electoral registers have

Earlier, we can find Thomas Howard and Louisa in the electoral registers in Napier Road, Ashford.
There's also a Thomas and Dorcas Howard in that road, and I am wondering if they might be the parents of Thomas John.

The birthdate was a guess on my part.. I was trying to work it out from when she had Winifred in Brentford Workhouse in 1916...
