The 1849 marriage shows Ann's father as John Cook so if Mary's father is the same....... This record is only a transcription so don't know what John's occupation is.

He was a Maltster.  A Rachel Cook was one of the witnesses, image on FindMyPast

Think off me in the Country near all the fires here in NSW.
Luckily my Son in Law is in the Rural Fire Service and we are prepared if anything happens!
The fire front is now 1200 Kilometres long. In 40 years in OZ I have never seen anything like it.
