Rootsireland for County Sligo?

Hello,

I am helping a friend with some Irish research - and I know nothing about Ireland, having no family from there.
If I am looking for a Protestant baptism between 1820-1830 in Sligo, would I have any luck on Rootsireland.ie? I would prefer to have an idea if there is likely to be records available before I pay for a sub! I notice there is no two week 'free trial' offer.
Is there broad coverage, or just from some areas... that kind of thing.
If anyone can help me, I would be grateful!

you can check the records they have on the sources page : http://ifhf.rootsireland.ie/online-sources.php   (select Sligo from the list)

they have a number of protestant transcripts, with quite a few Church of Ireland records, just a couple of Presbyterian and Methodist. Only a few have records back as far as 1820s

Not sure about Rootsireland but this site will give you an idea what might be available for Co. Sligo. Bear in mind that in general the earlier the records the less detail included.

Thanks to both of you! Those are useful links. So as soon as I can figure out which parish(es) I might be looking at, I will be able to make a decision re: Rootsireland. I note that one I'm sure I need - Ballisodare - doesn't have anything available.
