A very big thank you to everyone!! It sounds as if "complicated" is not the word for her pedigree!!! Now I must find out her birth details...

Good work chempat. It certainly is a "complicated" family, drmjgould.

Trying to tie up another loose end, I think Kate Davies was the wife of Frank Davies, maiden name Parkinson. And may be another daughter of Kate/Kezia Parkinson.

Possible leads for Kate Parkinson:
The 1901 census has Kate Davies as born in Poplar, London. The following birth registration was the best I could find. There's some possible sightings of this Kate in Spalding (1871 census) and Warrington (1881 census).

The 1911 has Elizabeth claiming 3 children - so Elizabeth, Kate and George.  Good.

Very interesting - but does Miss Innon Pooly Parkinson born 1872 in Dorset, UK [found in 1881 English Census with Kate Parkinson as mother living in 49 Cransworth Street, Chorlton on Medlock, Lancashire] fit in somewhere - Also George Parkinson living in 32 Parsonage Road, Withington, Lancashire on 1901 English Census - As well Elizabeth Parkinson registered the birth of Derick Parkinson Ray [on his birth cert] while living at or visiting 12 Alan Road, Withington on 2/9/1918 - I think that Elizabeth Wilson born 1875 1Q in Chorlton, Lancs [whose mother's surname was Parkinson] may be EP's birth details

That cannot be her name, so I was hoping someone could suggest what it really is from the snippet I posted.

Parsonage Road intersects Alan Road in Withington, Lancs - As well George Parkinson moved from 50 Parkfield Street in Moss Side, Lancs to 32 Parsonage Road [see electoral register for 1901 for him in the details of] - all while he was in 50 Parkfield Street, Kate Parkinson was living separately at 49 Cransworth Street in Chorlton on Medlock, Lancs

Innon & Pooly are both UK forenames, but given KP's integrity you are right to query them. KP also was a servant in Haggerstone St Paul, Middx in the 1871 Census

Innon does not show on free bmd at all.
There are half a dozen named 'Pooly' but in some cases it also shows as 'Polly'.
